Our Mission Statement and Vision

Our Mission statement

The Education for Sustainable Living Program (ESLP) is a student-led organization committed to empowering students to take action in the climate crisis. Our program creates collaborative learning environments through UCSC-accredited courses for students of all backgrounds to learn the skills needed to transition toward a society that prioritizes the planet and its people.

Our Vision

The Education for Sustainable Living Program envisions a world where individuals, governments, companies, corporations, educational institutions, and other organizations operate with sustainable practices, and appreciate the ways in which we are all interconnected. We see the present as a time of great action and change towards a planet where environmental cost and social costs are taken into consideration with financial bottom lines.
